EMROIDERY WORKSHOP//BASS HARBOR
Beginning Embroidery Workshop
@ the Bass Harbor Library (on MDI)
Learn five surface embroidery stitches and use them to complete a non-traditional sampler. A sampler is a traditional way of teaching embroidery. In this class we will use this traditional style to begin a non-traditional sampler that you can continue to work on following the workshop. Embroidery is a code of beeps and blips, alternating to express a likeness or idea. Come translate your imagination into embroidery code and you will be surprised at how your unique voice appears on fabric.
This is a beginner class, no prior knowledge of embroidery necessary.
Class includes an embroidery hoop, fabric & materials to get started practicing embroidery.
